About Our Fleet . . .

	One of North Carolina's Largest Fleets . . . At Southern, we are very proud of our motorcoach fleet. With more than sixty (60) coaches, we are one of North Carolina's largest motorcoach operators. Recently, Bus Solutions (a nationwide appraiser of motorcoach fleets), inspected our equipment and stated in their report "... we have never seen such a well maintained fleet anywhere." We invite you to come and inspect our fleet for yourself. We think you'll agree! Each coach is maintained in like-new condition through our preventive maintenance program. Our fleet is kept spotlessly clean by a full-time staff of cleaning professionals. And unlike some carriers, we service every coach between each charter to be sure the vehicle you get is spotless and in tip-top shape! Our fleet includes luxury motorcoaches, deluxe coaches, minibuses and vans to accommodate even the smallest of groups. Currently, our fleet consists of the following vehicle types:
	55-passenger MCI J Model The MCI J provides the ultimate in passenger comfort. With large windows and the largest luggage space in the industry, the MCI J is perfect for larger groups and longer tours. Features include DVD Video System, AM/FM Stereo Radio with CD or Cassette Player, Public Address System, Climate Control System, Reclining Seats, Reading Lights, Enclosed Overhead Parcel Racks, Restroom, and and upon request can be equipped with card table at select seat locations.
	55-passenger Prevost H3-45 The Prevost H3-45 provides the ultimate in passenger comfort. With large windows and the largest luggage space in the industry, the H3-45 is perfect for larger groups and longer tours. Features include VHS and DVD Video Systems, AM/FM Stereo Radio with CD or Cassette Player, Public Address System, Climate Control System, Reclining Seats, Reading Lights, Enclosed Overhead Parcel Racks, Restroom, and and upon request can be equipped with card tables at select seat locations.
	55-passenger Prevost LeMirage The Prevost LeMirage XL is recognized as one of the most innovative sightseeing coaches made, thanks to unique side-windows which curve up and around towards the roof providing an outstanding panoramic view. These coaches are excellent for sightseeing groups! Features include VHS and DVD Video Systems, AM/FM Stereo Radio with CD or Cassette Player, Public Address System, Climate Control System, Reclining Seats, Reading Lights, Overhead Parcel Racks, Restroom, and upon request can be equipped with card tables at select seat locations.
	55-passenger MCI DL-3 The MCI DL3 Series is recognized as one of the most reliable motorcoaches on the road today. With seating for up to 55 passengers and extra luggage capacity under the floor, it is perfect for larger groups. Features include VHS and DVD Video Systems, AM/FM Stereo Radio with CD or Cassette Player, Public Address System, Climate Control System, Reclining Seats, Reading Lights, Enclosed Overhead Parcel Racks, Restroom, and upon request can be equipped with card tables at select seat locations.
	47-Passenger MCI-D3 The slightly smaller MCI D3-Series coach has the same great features as our 55 passenger MCI coaches, but with a shorter wheelbase. These coaches can often get into places our larger buses cannot, and operate at a lower cost which can save your group money! Features include VHS and DVD Video Systems, AM/FM Stereo Radio with CD or Cassette Player, Public Address System, Climate Control System, Reclining Seats, Reading Lights, Overhead Parcel Racks, Restroom, and upon request can be equipped with card tables at select seat locations.
	Mini-Buses and Vans When a big coach is just too much, or you need to get into tight locations, our minibus and van fleet can be the perfect solution. These vehicles seat from 14 - 20 passengers and are perfect for airport shuttles, local sightseeing, dine-a-round programs, wedding parties and more. Our minibues offer the convenience of walk-in door, center aisle, ample headroom and are far superior and more comfortable than our 14 passenger vans. Minibus Features include: AM/FM Radio, Public Address System, Climate Control System, Reading Lights, and Overhead Parcel Racks. Van Features include: AM/FM Radio, Climate Control System.
